Uttar Pradesh police department invites the Indian citizens for the post of Constables in their various departments and they have announced to fill 24000 posts with their recent announcement. The official website of the UP Police Recruitment Board can be accessed for the detailed advertisement and the procedure of recruitment.
UP Police Application Form 2013 is available online and the candidates who fulfill all eligibility requirements for the post of constable can apply through the ORA (Online Recruitment Application).

Eligibility Criteria To Fill The Form:

• Age limit is an important criteria and for this recruitment the minimum age limit is set at 18 years and that for maximum age is set at 22 years. Age should be reckoned as on 1st day of January, 2013 and so as the educational qualification. However, the relaxation for reserved category of candidates such as SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen is applicable only for the natives of the state of UP.
• Educational qualification of the candidate is set at a minimum qualifying standard of matriculation or equivalent as completed in the 10+2+3 system of education in India.

Recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector / Lady Sub-Inspector (Unarmed) in West Bengal Police 2013.

Applications are invited for the following posts in West Bengal Police :

  1. Sub-Inspector of Police (Un-armed) : 282 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-37600/- Grade Pay Rs. 3900/- 
  2. Lady Sub-Inspector (Un-armed)  : 118 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-37600/- Grade Pay Rs. 3900/- 

Age : 20-27 years as on 01/01/2013.

Application Fee :   Fee of Rs. 150/- in the form of A/C payee Demand Draft  payable at Kolkata from any Nationalized Bank or IPO payable at GPO Kolkata in favour of ‘West Bengal Police Recruitment Board’ (WBPRB). Candidates belonging to SC/ST category of West Bengal only are not required to pay any fee.

Application Form   The prescribed application form with detailed Information Brochure will be available from the office of the Superintendent of Police of all districts and the office of the Commissioner of Police of all Police Commissionerates (except Kolkata) up to 16/04/2013. Application Form will be issued to the candidates on production of Bank Draft / Postal Order of Rs. 150/-  or Caste Certificate (for the candidates from SC/ ST of West Bengal only).

How to Apply :  Duly filled up Application Form along with two photographs and copies of all certificates are to be placed in an envelope of size 34 cm X 26 cm. On the top of this envelope please write “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SUB-INSPE CTOR (UN-ARMED) / LADY SUB – INSPECTOR (UN-ARMED) OF POLICE IN WEST BENGAL POLICE – 2013” On the right side of the envelope please write “To The Chairman, West Bengal Police Recruitment Board, Police Records Bhavan, Araksha Bhavan, Block -DJ , Sector -II , Salt Lake, Kolkata -700091 ”. Application form may be deposited at the same place from where it was issued or can be sent directly to the Chairman, West Bengal Police Recruitment Board by post. On the left side of the envelope please write “From” followed by your name and full address. The last date of receipt of application is 17/04/2013.

• Expected vacancies for general Police Department: 20000 posts

Vital Criteria of Eligibility for applying to the posts:

Academic Requirements:
An applicant must have completed his Matriculation in the 10+2 system of education Or, Intermediate Studies (10+2 standard) or equivalent qualification in order to be considered for the job position. A pass in the above qualification will suffice for the consideration provided the academic qualifications are obtained prior to the 1st day of January of 2013

Age Specific Standards:
An applicant must not have over-crossed the max age limit of 22 years and must not be below 18 years of age as on 1st day of January 2013

Note: Standard Medical Fitness and Minimum Physical Norms need to be abided by the candidates in order to get selected for this recruitment

Application Fee:
An applicant interested to join this massive Police Force must remit an amount of Rs.50 through the standard Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order at the designated account.
