Bank may conduct written test on more than two dates, if need be.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment of Peons in State Bank of Travancore(SBT). Candidates can apply for vacancies of their native districts/centres only. Selection will be made district wise on the basis of merit among the candidates of the same district. Candidates have to appear for written test at allotted Centre at their own expenses. Reservation for PWD / XS / DXS is horizontal reservation and included in the vacancies of various categories. PWD candidates applying for the post of Peons in States where vacancies are not reserved for them will be eligible for upper age relaxation as available to PWD candidates. Similarly XS candidates applying for the posts in States, where vacancies are not reserved for them will be eligible for age relaxation applicable to their parent category (SC/ST/OBC) only.
Abbreviations stands for: Gen ■ General Category; SC • Scheduled Caste, ST • Scheduled Tribe; OBC – Other Backward Classes; PWD • Person with Disability; HI -Hearing Impaired, Vl-Visually Impaired, OH-Orthopaedically Handicapped; EXS-Ex-Serviceman, DXS – Disabled Ex-Servicemen.
The reservation under various categories will be as per prevailing Government guidelines at the time of finalization of result.

Bank reserves the right to change the date of examination. Bank may conduct the examination on more than two dates, if need be.
CALL LETTERS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION:
The candidates should download their call letter by entering his/her registration number and password/date of birth, after 11-11-2013 from Bank’s website. No hard copy of the call letter/ booklet will be sent by post.
