JEE 2014 Dates Declared, Details, Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Timetable jeemain.nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates of this year’s Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). The online application process will start from November 15 while the offline examination will be held on April 6,2014. The online examination will start from April 9 next year.
The board declared that the last date of submitting the applications is December 26. While the fees of online and offline examinations are different, the girls coming in open category will have to pay only half fees. The fees of offline examination’s paper 1 and 2 for open category students is Rs 1000. However, girls and reserved category students will have to pay only Rs 500. On the other hand, the fees of online examination’s paper 1 and paper 2 for open category students is Rs 600 but girls and reserved category students will have to pay Rs 300.
The merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in board and JEE mains examination. As per the given information, 40 % weightage will be given to board examinations while 60% weightage will be given to JEE. The dates of JEE advance examination which is conducted for admissions in IIT institutions is yet to be declared by the board.
