RECRUITMENT Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra has started eco-tourism activities at nine sites in forest areas of Vidarbha Region (Kolara, Moharli, Nagzira, Pitezari, Umarzari, Bor, Chikhaldara, Semadoh, Kolkaz) and proposes to start the activities at some more sites including few in Western Maharashtra Region.
Basic concept of Ecotourism is to provide essential facilities of travel, stay and safari in the wildlife / forest areas. The existing and new tourist facilities at these sites will be developed and maintained to provide proper stay and catering facilities. Arrangements of travel from prominent places will be made to provide complete package tours.
It is proposed to appoint seven Resort Managers and seven Assistant Resort Managers for the above as well as additional proposed sites. Resort Managers/ Assistant Resort Managers will be responsible for planning and conducting the tour packages with all essential services and will also be responsible for development works, day to day management of eco-resorts and conduction of ecotourism activities from the resorts. REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AGE :
REMUNERATION : Resort Managers on a monthly fixed consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25000/- and Assistant Resort Manager on a monthly fixed consolidated remuneration of Rs. 17000/- on contract basis for a period of one year, plus reimbursement of medical expenses as per Company Rules.
