DIRECTORATE of Technical Education (DTE) has announced ihe schedule for counseling round of Engineering admission. The counseling round will be held at Government College of Engineering. Station road. Osmanpura. Aurangabad from July 16.
After second round of Centralised Admission Process (CAP), barring few colleges most of the colleges are facing crunch of students. Of the total intake of 24.392 only 11.018 seals are filled with 14.505 seats remained vacant.
The three autonomous colleges including Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) (where seats of minority and management quota arc filled in a transparent manner), Ycshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE). G H Raisoni College, and barring few other non- autonomous colleges that include Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Engineering, St. Vincent Palloti College of Engineering. Jhulelal Institute of Technology. Cummins College of Engineering. J D College of Engineering, and most of the other colleges are facing the problem of vacancy. The vacancy position of CAP round II was displayed on Friday. Admission by counseling CAP Round III will be madcat Government College of Engineering from July 16 to 18.

  • Students may apply either by hard copy or Online (www.kvpy.org.in).
  • For Online application forms, Those who are unable to apply online may request for a hard Copy.
  • A hard copy of the application form can be
    obtained from KVPY on request on a plain paper enclosing the paid
    “Bank Challan/ Pay-in-slip” (available at:
    http://www.kvpy.org.in/), clearly indicating the stream SA/SX/SB on the
    envelope.
  • APPLICATION FEE:  An application fee of
    Rs. 500/- may be remitted at any core banking branch of the STATE
    BANK OF INDIA to the credit of “Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) A/c. No. 10270577392”
  • The Processing fee is  exempted for the following category of students:
    1. Students belonging to SC/ST community
    2. Students With Disability (Physically and Visually Challenged Students)

  • The completed application form along
    with the following documents, superscribing on the envelope the
    stream applied for, should reach the KVPYoffice on or before 02/09/2013.
    1. Caste certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed proforma in the case of SC/ST students.
    2. Medical certificate from the prescribed
      authority in case of Persons With Disability (physically and
      visually challenged students) certifying the percentage of
      disability.
    3. Copy of the marks/grade statement of the previous qualifying examination(s).
    4. The original Pay-in-slip of Rs. 500/- if applicable.
